Full size refers to aircraft that humans can sit in and fly directly, as in the phrase 'full size aviation'.

Sometimes people may refer to 'real helicopters', but that is a misnomer, really, as model helicopters are just as real as full size helicopters, just miniaturized and controlled remotely.

Some model helicopter pilots fit a fuselage to a pod and boom machine to turn it into a scale models of a full-size helicopter.
