Jesus bolt
From RC Helicopter Wiki
In full-scale helis, this is what pilots refer to the main bolt connecting the rotor head to the mast. Named this because if this bolt comes off, you’re on your way to meet Jesus. On RC helicopters, the Jesus bolt threads perpendicularly into the bottom end of the main shaft and bolts the main gear to it, thus holding the whole assembly in the model.
[edit] Tips
- Your Jesus bolt bends from time to time in crashing. Always be sure to check if you have tweaked it when replacing your main shaft.
